Business (Casual) As Usual

This time of year most folks want to pile on the clothes with generally chilly weather around, but would you like to ditch the suits and go for more of a dressy casual attire for work? Believe it or not, it's being talked about, at least at the United Nations building in New York City. Reuters newssource interviewed a U.S. architect named Michael Adlerstein who is overseeing the renovation of the building. If people during the summer wore lighter clothing, technicians could set the thermostat higher than normal to save energy while maintaining the comfort of the people who are there. Adlerstein said that they could save $100,000 every month if the temperature was turned up just five degrees. It's even possible down the road that people at the UN will be asked to wear a few MORE clothes in the winter so they can keep the building cooler to maintain that savings. How would you feel if YOUR workplace decided to go this route - or are they ALREADY doing that? Let me know what you think!!
