The presidential election is still 120 days away, but we're getting a better idea of what you are thinking about the candidates.
A new Associated Press-Yahoo! News poll asked respondents the word they would use to describe Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama.
Let's cut to the chase, here are the top words:
John McCain: old
Barack Obama: outsider, change
I can see the spin each candidate would use to incorporate or deflect the reaction to those words. Old sounds bad for McCain, but the certain Republican nominee is trying to sell himself to voters as a guy with the experience that his opponent lacks.
Change sounds good for Obama in an election year where change of any kind appears to resonate at the polls, but outsider does reflect some of the questions about experience for the certain Democratic nominee.
