However, the show just quietly chugs along with solid - if not spectacular - ratings on Thursday nights. But at least we don't have to take in a naked Richard Hatch running around like in the days when the show was the talk of TV.
Jerry Sims is the latest contender from South Carolina to appear on the show.
His biography from CBS says he's a 49-year old Army Sergeant from Rock Hill who just returned from a tour in Afghanistan.
He grew up as one of ten children on a chicken farm and has been married for 25 years.
