I heard on the news that they are trying to vote to ban smokers from smoking in a vehicle if there is a child in the car! And alot of people are voting yes to it. I am so upset over this. It's not the issue of smoking as much as its the idea that you take away the choice. Do you people wear blinders?
When you allow the goverment to take over every decision in our lives you take away the meaning of Freedom! Do you not realize the consequences of one door opening to lead to another?
The same goverment of laws tell us that you must wear seatbelts in your car or you will be ticketed, a child must be in a car seat or you will be ticketed. Yet they themselves do not follow the rules. They take other peoples children everyday and put them in their school busses and Without Seatbelts. Do you not see the irony in that? They make money for something they do not intend to do for themselves. And its more dangerous for a child to be in a schoolbus than it is in your own car that you pay the insurance for! Unreal.
Seatbelt laws... Smoking Laws... what is next?
Before you go voting yes to something that sounds good at the moment... Think of where it will lead. Think of the things that are really going wrong in this country.
This country has more important issues to ponder if you ask me.
