»  Comments | Post a Comment

Over the past few months, we have shown you many simple ways to Go Green and Save Green at your house and office. Now, its time for you to put it all together with your own energy audit.

Whether you do it yourself or have a professional evaluate your energy efficiency, the payoff will be huge just by knowing what to do to save money and save the earth. If we all took a look at ways to save our natural resources, we could cut carbon emissions and leave the earth a better place to live for future generations.

Resale value is huge and an easy way to increase the value of your home is to have a high efficiency energy rating attached to the place you live. If just 100,000 households received an energy audit, we would save over 60 million dollars in energy costs.

If you don’t want to pay for an auditor to come to your house, there are several online audits you can do yourself, from Duke Energy to Piedmont Natural Gas. The key is to ask yourself, how can I do my part to Go Green and Save Green?
