Wally Bishop is half the man he used to be literally. Just two years ago he weighed 430 pounds and had no hope of losing any of it.
Bishop says, "You gain the 50 pounds you lost back plus an additional 20. It is like my body was punishing me for even trying to diet. So at that point I just stopped."
He says in an attempt to help his wife deal with her Fibromyalgia he bought some natural food shakes to have for breakfast, but he didn't change any other eating pattern.
He says it was enough to get him started. Just changing that little bit had a big impact. He began to notice he had more energy and his sugar cravings weren't as bad.
He says, "Normally I would come home and I would sit down and that was it unless I was getting up to get something to eat. I mean I felt so bad. I didn't realize how bad I felt until I started feeling good. But over a period of weeks like the second week I am coming home and instead of sitting down I am actually outside working in the yard. I am walking around the block. "
For Wally, exercise was something he says he hadn't done in years. He says he felt so good he wanted to do more, so he cleaned out his cabinets for healthier choices, started eating six small meals a day and two years later its paid off. He now weighs 253 pounds.
He says, "My body is so clean now. My body is so used to getting very healthy foods that it lets me know very quickly I have eaten something I shouldn't eat."
He claims he was on his way to eating himself to death and if he can lose weight and get healthy anyone can.
According to Wally, "I think I have found god's mission for me and that is helping others. I think he spent 52 years getting me to where I was and where I am today so that I can give this message to other people. They can lose weight naturally. They can have a vibrant health."
He says you only have to look at him now to know you don't have to pay a lot of money or know the latest weight loss craze to make major changes. You can make small changes to start and eventually you will get big results.
Wally says losing weight has given him a new out look on life and he has even gone back to school to become a nutritionist.
