My Mother's Battle

»  Comments | Post a Comment

hey my name is christopher turner and i recently found out that my mother has cancer. I dont understand with her being a SRHC employee why she cant get more help than she does. The Chemo therapy she is taking requires a shot after the treatment and the insurance she has is also through SRHC but it will not pay for the shot and they require her to pay $1600 up front before she can take, which means if she dont have the money she cant take the shot which puts us where we are now with her in the hospital with her blood counts being extremly low and putting her in a critical condition. I was wandering if yall could her me figure out why the insurance are not no better than they are and why with her being an employee of the hospital system that she cant get no more her than she does. The only thing they tell her when she applies for help she made to much money last year which dont help us at all this year, with the cancer and all the treatments an all the medications she is require to take it has put our family in a big finacial disaster can you please help us with our problems please.
