Greenville Co. Deputies Find Body, Believed To Be Missing Woman

A body has been found in a wooded area of Greenville county and deputies believe it's the body of a missing mother of three.




Deputies say they found the body near Agnew Road and Highway 253, West Blue Ridge Drive in Greenville County.  That’s near the area where deputies have been searching for 25-year-old Jandie Finley.  Officials say the body has not been formally identified, but they are 99% sure it's that of Finley.



Finley's friend said he and Finley were shot by Brian Sturgeon at the Hunting Ridge Apartments in Berea on Sunday night.  Then Sturgeon stole the car with Finley still inside.  The burned car was found Monday in Pickens County and Monday night officials arrested Brian Sturgeon after a three hour stand off.


    


Sturgeon has been in custody since then, charged with assault and battery with intent to kill.  Deputies say at this time there will be no new or additional charges in the Jandie Finley case, but pending an autopsy and positive identification new charges could be filed.
