Extra Patrols In Simpsonville Neighborhood After Home Invasion

A Greenville County neighborhood is on alert following a violent home invasion.


 


It happened on Vinewood Court in the Westwood subdivision southwest of Simpsonville.  Police say a man knocked on the door and when the woman opened it three men stormed in and started robbing the home.


    

They tried to tie up the victim with electrical cords, but the woman got loose and the men took off.  Then she ran into them while she was out searching for help that is when they took a shot at her


    

Simpsonville Police had extra patrols in that neighborhood overnight and say they will continue for the next several days.
