»  Comments | Post a Comment

COLUMBIA, SC – The Obama South Carolina campaign has worked to make adequate parking, including handicap parking, available for Sunday’s rally with U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and Oprah Winfrey. Participants are encouraged to car pool and group buses will have drop off points. Groups interested in car pooling, or those who have buses for Sunday’s event, should contact the Obama Headquarters at 803-255-8008.

Parking will be available at the State Fairgrounds across from the stadium for a fee of $10. (Note: This is the typical parking fee for game days.) Gate #6 will open at 9:00 a.m.; Gates 10 and 12 will open at 11:00 a.m.  Parking will also be available at the farmers market on a first come first serve basis.  For directions to the stadium and to view a map of stadium parking, visit: http://my.barackobama.com/page/s/scoprah
