Investigators Hoping For More Clues In Search For Missing Hiker

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Could college students hold important information in the case of a murdered hiker and her missing husband?  Investigators say they are looking for two groups of people parked near John and Irene Bryant's car.

The Hendersonville couple went hiking in the Pisgah National Forest on October 20th.   The next day someone tried to call 911 with one of their phones, but the call never went through.  Irene Bryant's body was found November 9th just 30 yards from where the couple’s car was found.  Her husband still has not been found.

Information about the case along with John Bryant's picture is now posted on the Americas Most Wanted website under missing people.  Investigators still want to find the owners of cars pictured in the parking area near the Bryant's car.

A witness thinks there were two groups of college students there, one on mountain bikes and the other in a green SUV and a purple Toyota 4Runner.  They also want to talk to anyone who was on Yellow Gap Road on October 21st.

You can call the task force hotline at 828-862-3645.  Its manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
