SC Dept. Of Education Says Exit Exams Scores Are Up

The Department of Education says scores just out on a state mandated high school exit exam are up.    


   

77% of 10th graders who took the HSAP, which is required for high school graduation passed on their first try last spring. They're tested in English, language arts and math.


   

According to the Department of Education more than 99% of students at Greenville Technical Charter School passed.  Riverside was next highest in Greenville County at 91%.


   

Broome and Woodruff high schools both topped 88%, the high in Spartanburg County.  



89% of Wren 10th graders passed, the best showing in Anderson County.
