Leigh Ann Brown says, "I am thankful and count my blessings for my family and friends."
Adults have given Thanksgiving much thought, but children playing, well, let's see.
Chandler says, "I'm thankful for my family cause some people don't have a family." Little Chandler traveled from Florida to see his relatives. Getting to play at Cleveland Park is a bonus this Thanksgiving, but a good one. He's with his brother, cousin, mom and dad and grand dad.
La'Trez says, "I'm thankful for my life cause I like living."
He is thankful for his friends too. Playing football was also high on his list.
Brandon says, "I'm thankful for what I have cause not that many people get what we have."
Chloe says, "I'm thankful for momma and daddy because they're good to me."
Just about everything you can think of, these children named, but of course Thanksgiving would not be, to a child, if toys weren't involved.
"My toys, my X-box and my video games," says Brandon.
The holiday is a public celebration. Giving thanks for good favor and kindness. Most often it's spent with family and friends, but not just for adults, even these children make Thanksgiving a top priority.
Right after family, friends and toys, many of those children also said they were thankful for their school teachers.
