The Harvest Hope organization opened it's new food bank in Greenville today.
The organization provides more than 200,000 families with food every year.
Many say, with the economy in such a dismal stage right now, it's important to keep the food bank full for people in need.
Peter Lawrence was once homeless. He says, "they're counting on this food from one month to the next without it people are going to starve."
The new Harvest Hope location is at 5200 Pelham Road Suite A. You can make donations or even go for help.
