Jury selection continues Tuesday in the rape trial involving Sheriff Chris Abril. Our coverage partners at the Hendersonville Times-News report an administrative session was held today before anymore interviews were conducted. Jurors were released around 11 a.m. and told to return at 2 p.m. Jury selection began Monday. Abril was arrested in 2006 and charged with five counts of first-degree statutory rape and one count of first-degree sexual offense from incidents that allegedly happened 20 years ago.
