MARSHALL, N.C. -- The western North Carolina town of
Marshall has ordered mandatory water restrictions after one of the
town's three wells dried up. An emergency town meeting is scheduled
this morning. Mayor Lawrence Ponder says if the town can't find
additional water, it will be dry in five to six weeks.
