CSX railroad will be closing the crossing on Washington road between Anderson Road and Easley Bridge road in Greenville Thursday morning.
The railroad says the crossing will be closed to through traffic starting at 8:30am. Detours will be in place to direct drivers around the closing. Motorists are advised to plan on additional drive time.
CSX also says the crossing on Groce Road in Lyman will be closed Friday morning for repair work. This crossing is scheduled to re-open late Friday afternoon.
A detour will also be in place for this closing.
