The Greer Police Department needs help to make its Cops for Tots toy goal for this year.
So far, they are about $8,000 short to meet the need in the community and their toy trailer is only about a quarter of the way full, according to Lt. Jimmy Holcombe.
Right now, they have enough to give to about 300 kids when more than 600 have signed up.
Donations are only accepted for another two weeks, until Dec. 18. The toys will be distributed on Dec. 20.
You can donate by giving any new, unwrapped toy to the Greer Police at the station, 102 S. Main Street, Greer.
