An Anderson County magistrate released four men, on their own recognizance, after they were arrested for being part of an alleged cockfighting operation near Belton.
Felipe Villanueba, Jose Granodos, Abel Sundoval and Jaime Chavez were all released on their own recognizance and given a court date.
Anderson County Sheriff's investigators say the operation included 37 roosters, two rings, a scoreboard and a concession stand. There were about 60 people in the barn according to deputies when they made the bust.
Many of them ran away, but the Sheriff's Office made 19 arrests.
