On December 1, 2008 at 11am the Piedmont Community Center was out of financial assistance for those who could not afford their electric bills. We then drove to a Ministry that offers to assist......they were closed due to lack of fund. Their hours were cut in half due to lack of money, Could you please advise us that live in the "outter banks" where we can go? I'm disabled and my husband has beeb unemployed (no unemployment) since July...over 309 applications to date.. we do not have food for our daily meals let alone the Holidays. All I pray for is to be able to feed my husband for the Holidays and do not know where to go.
Any guidance would be so appreciated.
