Deputies say Annette Blackwell, 29, has been taking mail for months. Deputies say she drives around in disguise, in an SUV topped with a yellow light, that looks like a mail carrier. Then, they say, she uses resident's account information to forge her own checks.
Deputies nearly stopped the whole scam, when they caught up with Blackwell Wednesday. She took off, ditching her fake mail carrier car.

"They called me at work. It was Tuesday," Schrimsher says. "They told me I was overdrawn on my account. I said there's no way. No way." More than $4000 was missing from the grandmother's account. "She cleaned me out," says Schrimsher. "Not even a dollar left!"
