Jethro, a specialty trained dog with The Program Dogs for Autism, has been found safe near Saluda Lake thanks in part to News Channel 7 viewers. Julie the program director for the autism program says they received about 20 calls after our broadcast Saturday night. Julie says the calls helped pinpoint the area where Jethro was found. Julie says he was sitting on the front porch of an abandoned mobile home. Jethro a two year old German Sheppard went missing from the Saluda Dam Road area on Friday. Jethro is a breeder and his puppies have been given to families with autistic children. Visa another dog was also missing but her owner found her dead in the road on Saturday.
