Five upstate counties that had their drought status upgraded from severe to extreme a couple of weeks ago were discussed at Tuesday's cabinet meeting, reports News Channel 7 reporter Robert Kittle. The state Natural Resources Board is set to meet again in about two weeks, where committee members say they may discuss restrictions for the counties -- Greenville, Pickens, Oconee, Spartanburg and Cherokee -- in question. After that meeting, committee members expect to give recommended restrictions, if any, to the governor.
