The Greer Police Department is currently looking for 21-year-old Uriel Mendez, according to reports from the police department.
A release stated that they believed Mr. Mendez was involved in a motor vehicle accident on S. Line and Marchant in the City of Greer on July 11. Mr. Mendez fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle at 610 Trade St., police say.
The driver of the second vehicle, Melvin Larry Brown, was seriously injured and transported to Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Warrants have been issued for Hit & Run with great bodily injury and No State Drivers License Second.
