Firefighters spent Thursday night on the scene of a fire at the First Piedmont Federal Savings bank in Gaffney.

The bank is located on 210 South Limestone Street.

Witnesses said smoke could be seen for miles.

The fire started at around 8pm, and its believed electrical wires in the floors are the cause.

The building, didn't get much damage, and it is expected to be open Friday morning.
