Two photographers were shot while covering a house fire in Indianapolis early Friday morning. Investigators say someone fired a 22-caliber gun as firefighters worked to put out the blaze.
W-I-S-H photographer Kevin Hankins has shot in the back. He says he felt a smack, lifted his shirt and saw blood.
A freelance photographer for a township fire department was struck in the arm.
Another bullet hit an air tank being worn by a firefighter.
None sustained life-threatening injuries.
Police are trying to determine who fired the shots.
