A 17-year-old was hurt when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving early Monday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. They said he was being pursued by Anderson County Deputies when the wreck happened.
The wreck happened at about 5 a.m. on S.C. 99 near Braugh Road in Anderson. The teen was traveling west on a 2006 Honda.
He was not wearing a helmet.
Highway Patrol told us that the youth was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital.
