A multilevel home in Woodruff caught fire Thursday night after a lightning strike.
The Woodruff fire department tells us a fire at 114 Breezy Hill Lane was caused by lightning. This, after strong storms passed through the area around the 6pm hour.
They say it was a multilevel home, but no one was hurt. A handful of fire departments responded to the scene. This was just one of a number of calls area departments got Thursday evening in response to fires started by lightning.
