After some strong storms passed through the Upstate Thursday night, trees and power lines were ripped down in many parts, leaving some without power.
The hardest hit area was Spartanburg County, more specifically, Woodruff, where strong winds blew down lots of trees. A huge one came down in Marcia McMahand's yard, crashing through her dining room. Luckily, no one was home or hurt.
She told us, "Never thought any of them would end up on the house." "No one was here; I got a call from my sister that a tree was in my yard and it went in my roof."
