A Greenville man has died following a traffic accident Monday morning in Seneca. It's the second death that resulted from that collision.
The Oconee County Coroner says Curtis Leroy Kimbrell, 77, of Taylors, died Tuesday morning at 5:15 am in the trauma intensive care unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Kimbrell was the driver of a Ford van that collided with a produce delivery truck at the intersection of U.S. 76/123 (Sandifer Boulevard) and North Radio Station Road in Seneca. He died from multiple blunt force traumatic injuries.
Kimbrell's brother-in-law, Frankie Junior Spearman, 79, of Seneca, died at the scene of blunt force traumatic injuries. He was the passenger in the van and was wearing a seat belt.
Seneca Police and the S.C. Highway Patrol will determine if any charges will be filed in the accident.
