Precision - a global manufacturer and marketer of aerosol valves and accessories - will expand it's Travelers Rest facilities and create 190 new jobs in Greenville County over the next five years.

The announcement of the $50 million investment was made Tuesday morning by Precision and the Greenville Area Development Corporation.

"The expansions and improvements here will extend the capabilities and capacity of Precision South Carolina (PSC) - already the single largest source of injection molded aerosol components in the world," said Mark Ostrowski, Director of Operations for Precision in a written release.

The investment includes the addition of more than 40,000 square feet of new production space and the modification and reconfiguration of 45,000 additional square feet of space at the company's Greenville County facilities.

"Travelers Rest is proud of its small town charm, and equally proud of the vibrant business community we have fostered here," noted Mayor Roy Reynolds. "Precision's expansion proves that quality companies can grow and thrive in the right environment, even in challenging economic times."

Paul Landers with the company says Precision will be hiring a variety of production and maintenance positions.  The company will begin advertising this weekend.  You can apply at the Employment Security Commission or at One Stop Job Centers.
