This morning the search is over for a man who is accused of snatching a woman's purse overnight.
Greenville County Sheriff's Deputies say the woman reported putting her purse the roof of her car at a convenience store on White Horse and Hunts Bridge Roads. She filled her tires with air. A clerk at the store told News Channel 7, a man took off with her purse around 1:45am when she ran inside the store for just a few seconds.
The clerk says witnesses chased him down. Then about an hour later, deputies caught the man and found the purse on Watkins Bridge Road.
The suspect's name has not been released.
