Troops with the South Carolina National Guard returned to family and friends, and a heroes welcome, tonight in Gaffney. A Police escort brought the busload of soldiers home, part of several homecomings around the state tonight. These soldiers are from the 218th Brigade, part of the largest sigle unit deployment since World War 2.
The homecoming will be short for some, most units will be redeployed over the next two months.
