Woman Killed In One Car Accident
A woman was killed Friday morning in a one vehicle accident that is being investigated by the Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 7:30am on McMahan Road near South Carolina 20 close to the Anderson County line. They tell us the car hit the bridge railing, breaking the rail, then bounced back and hit a tool shed in someone's yard.
A neighbor in the area tells us the planks on the wooden bridge get very slick, and he's seen many people loose control of their vehicles and slide all over the road.
The Greenville County Coroner's Office says the victem is Andrea Leigh Albertson, 23 years old, from Anderson County.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
