Police say an early morning raid on a home in Simpsonville turns into a meth lab bust and a young child is taken from the scene. Now two people are in custody.
Simpsonville Police say they raided the home on Shagbark Court in the Westwood South Community around 7:30 Friday morning, where inside they say they found two people and an eight-year-old boy. Police say a meth lab was found in the kitchen area of the home.
Police say the two people were taken into custody and the child is now with DSS.
The clean-up crew has come and gone, and the scene is now clear.
