Coming up Wednesday at the Statehouse:
--The full House will talk about changes the Senate made to the cigarette tax bill and decide whether to go along. The House passed a 30-cent-per-pack increase last year, but the Senate just passed a 50-cent increase.
--The full House also has on its calendar the bill to abolish parole in the state. Criminals would have to serve at least 85 percent of their sentences.
--Three House members and three senators will start working on a final version of next year's budget in conference committee.
--A House committee will debate the bill we told you about last week to create a new "I Believe" license plate for Christians. The tag would include a cross and stained glass window with the words "I Believe".
--Over in the Senate, a subcommittee will debate a bill we told you about on Monday that would legalize Ultimate Fighting and Mixed Martial Arts competitions.
--The full Senate has on its calendar a spending cap on state government.
