"Fuel Your Vote" Campaign Results Announced Monday Night

A Greenville coffe shop will announce the winners of their election year "coffee-bean" poll Monday night at the Liquid Highway "Fuel Yor Vote" Campaign results party.

The shop asked customers to vote for six weeks for the candidate of their choice by using coffee beans as ballots. Early results showed McCain in the lead, but only slightly.

The event will be held at the downtown Greenville location from 7-11pm Monday night.

Greenville, SC---Join us at 7pm through 11pm tonight for the results of Liquid Highway's "Fuel your Vote" campaign (Downtown Greenville location). Customers have had the opportunity for the past six weeks to “vote” for the candidate of their choice using a coffee bean placed in the “voting booth”. Early results indicated a slight lead for McCain.

Liquid Highway patrons have also had the opportunity to guess the winner and total number of votes for the chance to win a $500 Liquid Highway gift card, awarded tonight at the results party.

Events this evening include:
1. “Pictures with the candidates” – We have life size cutouts of Obama and McCain on site, local photographer Oliver Yu will be on hand to take your picture with your candidate of choice (or both!)
2. Pre-Election coverage – Both CNN and Fox News will be on the two plasma televisions in the store to keep up with the excitement!
3. Drink Specials: we’ll have drink specials that appeal to both parties, including the Java Joe Biden and the Lipsticked Pitbull.
4. Balloon “pop” – The store will be filled with red white and blue balloons… at the end of the evening each attendee will have the opportunity to pop a balloon for the chance to win a door prize.
5. FUEL YOUR VOTE CONTEST WINNERS – We’ll be giving away a $500 gift card, a $250 gift card and a $100 gift card to the winners of the FUEL YOUR VOTE contest. Every time you make a purchase at any Liquid Highway you are given a coffee bean to place in the “ballot box” for your candidate. You can also guess the total number of votes and the winner of the “election”. You must be present to win, and you can continue voting and guessing all the way up to 7pm on Monday 11/4.
