Today is the last day of absentee voting and we've already had a record turnout in the Upstate.
On Monday, many people waited in line to cast their absentee ballots as the day's deadline approached.
Things are well underway at elections office in Spartanburg.
Remember absentee voting is not early voting. There are 17 reasons in the state to vote absentee: For example, a disability, a work schedule or a vacation.
The Spartanburg County Elections Office is making sure voters get their absentee ballots in time. Their staff is hand-delivering some ballots to people's homes because of the crush of paperwork in the election office.
According to the State Election Commission, 295,391 have voted absentee in this election.
Voters must turn in their absentee ballots in person before 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
