Brandy McCoy, the wife of a Belton man killed Thursday when his motorcycle collided with a car travelling in the wrong lane of Broadway Lake Road in Anderson, said she wants an apology from whomever was driving the car.
Travis McCoy, 24, was killed in the Thursday evening accident.
The driver and two passengers fled the scene immediately after the wreck. Search dogs were brought out to search the area, but found no one. The road was closed for several hours after the accident.
An autopsy was conducted Friday morning. The results haven’t been released.
Brandy said she hopes the three in the other car will be responsible and turn themselves in. She said the accident was a tremendous loss to her and her two daughters.
“It’s just sad that he won’t be able to see his little girls grow up,” Brandy said. “But I know he’ll be looking down on them and watching them and protecting them.”
