Maintenance Product Company Adds 200 Jobs In South Carolina

FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. (AP) - Officials with a maintenance product supplier says they'll add at least 200 jobs at their Fountain Inn plant.

The Greenville News reported Wednesday that W.W. Grainger Inc. plans to increase it's work force over the next five years.

Grainger currently employs around 330 people at the Fountain Inn warehouse.

Operations regional director Marty Van Kanegan told thenewspaper the company will make changes to its 1 million-square-foot center so it can handle more products.

The Lake Forest, Ill.-based company expects to spend around $27 million on the expansion.
