AFL Telecommunications Announces Spartanburg County Expansion

AFL Telecommunications LLC will expand its operations in Duncan and add 15 new jobs.

AFL Telecommunications LLC will expand its operations in Spartanburg County. The $12 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs according to the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Spartanburg County Economic Futures Group.

"This expansion will allow us to expand our fiber optic cable systems, utility components production and network servicing capabilities. We are pleased to move forward with this expansion at our facility in Spartanburg County, which provides us with a skilled workforce and strong business environment," said William Nelli, controller for AFL Telecommunications in a written statement.

AFL Telecommunications will be expanding operations at its Duncan facility, where it's been located for 25 years. The company has been located at the facility for almost 25 years.

AFL Telecommunications and AFL Network Services, Inc. designs, manufactures, engineers and installs the fiber optic products and equipment that utility and communications providers need to offer high-speed voice, video and data services to their customers.
