A fire reported in Anderson County damaged part of a home on Friday, according to Anderson Fire and Disptach.
The fire was put out shortly after it was reported to wspa.com Friday morning.
Billy Gibson, with Anderson Fire, said the fire started in the kitchen at the 273 Finley St. home, at 9:25am. A woman was using the stove to heat her home when a peice of paper got in it and caught fire. The fire was contained to the kitchen.
While getting out of the house, Gibson said, she twisted her knee and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her identity hasn't been release.
