Senator Obama plans Rally in Asheville Today

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Democratic Presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama is in Asheville this morning, preparing to rally North Carolina voters today.

Obama arrived at the Asheville airport after campaigning in Virginia yesterday. He is locked in a tight race in North Carolina against Republican nominee John McCain.

Obama made a surprise visit at a dinner for 700 supporters at the Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa last night. He hammered on the differences between him and McCain. Obama said the reason his campaign was doing so well in the traditionally Republican state is that voters are tired of the Bush policies that he says McCain supports.

News Channel 7 will have complete coverage of Obama's rally tonight on News Channel 7 and here wspa.com.
