WASHINGTON (AP) - As Barack Obama and John McCain ready for tonight's second presidential debate, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is on the attack against Obama.
In a speech in Jacksonville, Florida, Palin argued that the election is about the truthfulness and judgment needed in our next president." She went on to say, "John McCain has it, Barack Obama doesn't."
A new TV ad released today by the Obama campaign accuses the McCain campaign of trying to focus attention on Obama's past associations in effort to turn the discussion away from the economy.
NBC's Tom Brokaw will moderate tonight's town hall-style debate at Belmont University in Nashville. Questions will be selected from voters in the audience and online.
