Two people are dead after separate accidents overnight in Greenville County.

Greenville County Deputy Coroner Karie Cain says that 22-year old Justin Tyler Waite, of Honea Path, died after a wreck on Holland Ford Road in Pelzer. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says that Waite was en route to his family's house on Eaton Drive when he lost control of his 1997 GMC convertible and went off the road. Waite then hit an embankment and his car overturned and he was ejected. He died less than a quarter-mile of his destination.

The second accident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. just outside the Greenville City limits on Welcome Avenue. Cain says that 29-year old Anthony Jones, of Greenville, was partially ejected from his 2000 Ford Explorer. The Highway Patrol says that Jones lost control of his vehicle, went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, then went off the left side of the road and overturned.

Toxicology results are pending in both accidents.
