Foothills Ford, located at 5719 Chesnee Highway in Chesnee is closing, said Mike Kennedy, the owner of the company.
Foothills Ford is the second big car dealership to announce its closing in as many days. Planet Ford announced its closing on Wednesday.

We are closing due to economic conditions during the bad economy. The bank that backs us is unable to offer full lending planning. This is not buy our choice and we didn’t hope it would turn out this way.
We are working with the highway department to do this the right way. If anyone has any concerns we hope it will be 3-4 days before this is settled.
