Cowpens Bank Gets Robbed

Spartanburg County deputies are currently searching for an armed robber who targed an Upstate bank this morning.

Spartanburg County deputies are currently searching for an armed robber who targed an Upstate bank this morning.

Dispatch tells us the First Citizens Bank on West Church Street in Cowpens was robbed around 9am. Police are looking for a white male with black pants and a brown hooded sweatshirt. He was armed with a black 9 millimeter handgun. He was last seen on Highway 29 heading toward Spartanburg. Police do not have a description of his vehicle.

There were no injuries reported in the bank robbery.
