Filling up in the Upstate is becoming more and more of an inconvience to drivers.

A gas shortage in the Southeast is forcing some gas stations to limit sales and others to close.

Experts say the hurricane is to blame.

In Duncan drivers couldn't hide their frustration when they pulled up at an Ingles only to find out it is completely out of all grades of gas.

Other gas stations across the upstate are expirencing similiar shortages.

Kangroo stores now have this sign posted on their pumps urging drivers not to buy more than 10 gallons at a time.

Spinx officials tell us their fuel suppliers warned them today of an uncoming temperary shortage of fuel due to refiners closing for the hurricane.

Confused and frustration drivers are already experiencing first hand the effects of the shortage.

How long will the shortage last?
Experts say hopefully only the length of the storm.

A Spinx spokesperson told News Channel 7 that deliveries are about 5 days behind the normal schedule.
