One man is dead after a fatal accident in Anderson Friday night.
Anderson County Deputy Coroner Charlie Boseman says that 35-year old Christopher Adams, of Starr, died in surgery at Anderson Area Medical Center shortly after midnight after the moped he was driving was struck by a pickup truck. According to Lance Cpl. Jeff Gaskins of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 9:45 Friday night when the driver of the pickup truck, 30-year old Robert L. Sisk III, was traveling west on True Temper Road when he failed to yield the right of way and struck the moped which was traveling north on Highway 81.
Adams was ejected from the moped and transported to Anderson Area Medical Center where he later died in surgery. He was not wearing a helmet.
