Friends of a missing Charleston woman announced a $25,000 reward for information to help find her. Kate Waring has been missing since June 12th.
Waring is 28 years old, and friends say it’s not like her to simply disappear.

According to the police report, her father says she had received threatening text messages in the weeks before June 12th.

She went to dinner with more than one other person. The people she went to dinner with say they dropped her off at her father’s Murray drive home at about midnight June 12th. However, no friends or neighbors can confirm that she was ever dropped off.

Family friend Andy Savage says the money will be given to anyone who can help find Kate, even if there is no crime involved.

In July the Anderson County Sheriff's Office acted on an email tip from a family friend told them her body could be found in woods. Nothing was discovered after a five hour search of the area and the water in Lake Hartwell.

If you have any information, call crimestoppers in Charleston at 843-554-1111.
